New from Marinedeck is the Marinedeck 2000 PFD system which uses latest technology to pre-fabricate and pre-finish decks of any size or shape. Launched internationally at METS 2007, some installations using the Marinedeck 2000 PFD system have been completed within a half a day!

How it works is boat builders or designers provide CAD files of the deck layout, then the deck is delivered pre-fabricated and pre-finished, ready to install. The system offers significant build time and labour savings: good news for buyers and boat builders alike as it provides faster delivery times than would otherwise be possible. This is because traditional decking methods usually take several days to complete and disrupt other building processes.

A side benefit of the Marinedeck 2000 PFD system is that owners can specify a graphic or the boat's name to be emblazoned into the deck - previously a potentially time consuming and problematic process.
