Terms of Trade
All prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars and include GST. Prices shown are subject to change without prior notice by So-Pac Marine Ltd and do not constitute an offer.
Quotation for goods to be specifically imported by So-Pac Marine Ltd for a particular order is subject to confirmation on receipt of a firm order. Prices quoted are subject to change based on exchange rates, freight rates, insurance and customs duty.
We use BNZ and DPS Payment Express to accept Visa or Mastercard payments. DPS Payment Express is the number one payment gateway in New Zealand so you can be sure your details are kept safe and secure. All payments are in New Zealand dollars. So-Pac Marine Ltd. is the name that will appear on cardholder statements.
Where goods are imported especially on your behalf a non-refundable deposit may be requested. Such goods may not be returned for credit without prior agreement.
So-Pac Marine will do our best to despatch goods within 24 hours of receiving your order (excluding weekends). So-Pac Marine will charge freight separately on all invoices. If delivery is to be delayed, the cardholder will be notified of the delay and an option provided to obtain a refund. Urgent and overnight orders despatched at the client’s request will be charged at the actual freight cost unless otherwise agreed.
5. FORCE MAJEURE
So-Pac Marine shall not be liable for any failure to perform the contract or supply any material, or for any delay or non-delivery due to strikes, fires, explosion, flood, riot, lockouts, injunctions, interruption of transportation, accidents, inability to obtain supplies at reasonable prices, war or apprehension of war, force majeure, governmental action or any other circumstance beyond So-Pac Marine’s control.
Ownership of the goods shall not pass to the client until So-Pac Marine has received payment in full for the order.
Payment required covers all charges included on the invoices and ownership does not pass until cheques or our bank clears other instruments.
So-Pac Marine shall be entitled to repossess the goods if payment is not made or the client and So-Pac Marine do not reach an agreement re payment.
If you decide to cancel your order, you must notify us (09 448 5900) within 24 hours. If your item has already been despatched, your refund will be exclusive of freight.
We do not accept returns except where the basis of the return is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
We do not pay for shipping costs of returning items to our warehouse. Item replacements not due to a fault, or any other sales cancellation attract a restocking fee of 10% plus shipping costs. This includes items exchanged due to incorrect size etc.
